I have loved mushrooms for a very long time, especially the Amanita Anamascara red and white mushrooms. These mushrooms are seen in tons of fairy tales and other mystical stories. The Faeries love and look after them. I always wanted to find one and they finally revealed themselves to me in the fall of 2019. I built this piece shortly after, after learning about the network of mycelium that connects the whole planet. Mushrooms are a unique creature, plant and animal of sorts, and they are all connected under the soil in one single network of wisdom.
They teach us connectedness and that we are all one, of the same source. That Ego consciousness is NOT of our higher nature. They teach us to embrace our ego consciousness as part of our survival animal nature, and happily co-exist with all in our higher consciousness.
